Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to come and join the Digital Systems Team. As a Diagnostic System Support Officer, you will work alongside a team of System Administrators and play a pivotal role in the day to day running on the Trusts Diagnostic Systems, PACS, RIS, Endosoft, Philips ISCV and GE Muse. As a Diagnostic System Support Officer you will have the opportunity to invest in your personal and professional growth by learning new skills or expanding existing skills. You will have the opportunity to assist with system implementations and upgrades, including testing of software and training delivery.
You must be of a calm disposition with excellent communication skills, be a team player, be able to use your initiative and work to tight deadlines.
A flexible approach to working arrangements is essential to meet service needs, which may on occasion include working evenings, early mornings or weekends.
Ideally the candidate will hold some operational experience within the National Health Service.

Provide day to day administration of the Diagnostic Systems and Clinical Systems.
To maintain the content and quality of information within the Diagnostic Systems Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS), Philips ISCV, Endosoft and the Clinical System Information Systems Careflow, Nervcentre, Badger and Emis .
Deliver training across multiple systems and to be configure new user accounts ensuring appropriate levels of access and functionality are observed.
To assist in the preparation of documentation and training guides.
Act as first line support for system users providing advice and guidance, resolving software problems where possible.
To produce of a wide range of timely, verified information to meet ad-hoc requirements.
To ensure scheduled and unscheduled work is coordinated effectively to completion within time scale.
Ensure through appropriate validation and audit procedures that information produced is based on accurate, timely and comprehensive data collection.
Act upon own initiative with regards to issues/problems/trends relating to the day-to-day administration of the systems
Assist with the ongoing specification and implementation of systems within Radiology.
