Job summary
Our Critical Care department is a combined unit with both Intensive Care and High Dependency beds. We have the capacity to admit into 12 beds from a range of specialities and services; these can be used flexibly to meet patient needs. We work closely with the Rehabilitation after Critical Illness team which is led by a Critical Care Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner.

Main duties of the job

You should be a Registered Nurse/ODP ideally with current experience in critical care although this is not an essential requirement for this post. You should possess or be working towards a degree in nursing or related field and hold a recognized teaching qualification. You should have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and be able to work effectively as a member of the critical care team. Internal rotation (Days/Nights) is mandatory.
