Main duties of the job
The main duties for this position include maintaining and optimising the hospital's network and communication systems. Main duties include troubleshooting network and telecom issues, configuring and managing routers, switches, and servers, ensuring secure and reliable data transmission, and supporting VoIP and telecommunication systems. The role also involves monitoring network performance, implementing upgrades, and ensuring compliance with NHS data security standards to support seamless clinical and administrative operations.

- Ability and experience in Java, .NET programming, Windows scripting
- Substantial experience of working with servers, network equipment and IT management and support systems
Education

- Able to demonstrate recent interest in own personal development.
- Certification to ITIL foundation level
