Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly-driven and enthusiastic individual to undertake a 12 month secondment to become at Deputy Sister (B6), on a Ward 21 Trauma and Orthopaedics.
The successful candidate will need to support learning amongst students and more junior staff in a ward environment, including identifying individual's development needs and encouraging optimal experience amongst staff.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced registered nurses who are passionate about providing excellent patient care within a vibrant and motivated teamand able to demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills. This is a challenging fast-paced working environment, caring for a diverse patient group, which will enable you tofurther develop yourclinical knowledge and skill set. Furthermore, interested individuals must possess excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, be organised, hardworking, and have avision forthe continuing development of the service and the skills, enthusiasm and drive to undertake this exciting and challenging role. You will be expected to work day shift with occasional night duty, coordinating a 30 bedded ward.
