Main duties of the job
This post would appeal to individuals with an enthusiasm for benign gynaecology and being involved in gynaecological cancer care in a local Gynaecology Cancer Unit but who also wish to maintain their skills and involvement in providing Obstetric care. Due to Obstetric commitments, the applicant will also require training in Obstetrics, such as the Advanced Labour Ward Practice or Labour Ward Lead (or equivalent) ATSM. Labour ward contribution is in the form of rotational hot weeks, and there are on call duties rotationally for weekends and midweek overnight, with compensatory rest periods afterwards. Elective Caesarean Section lists would form part of the job plan. Further information on this exciting post can be found in the job description.
