We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Assistant to join our exceptional team. As a Desktop Support Assistant, you will be the go-to person for ensuring our end-users have the correct technology to perform their roles, enabling them to work seamlessly.
Main duties of the job
Provide first-class support to end-users via in-person interactions, phone, email, and remote assistance, ensuring swift and effective resolutions to their technical queries and issues.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripherals on desktop systems.
Monitor desktop systems' performance and proactively address potential issues to prevent disruptions in productivity.
Adhere to IT security policies and protocols to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of the organisation's data.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when required.
Assess the suitability of PC locations from a Health & Safety perspective in relation to adequate lighting, desk space, seating arrangement.

- Educated to A Level, preferably with ICT Qualification or ICT A Level equivalent.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and standard business applications.
