Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to work as part of the Medicine Business Unit in Urgent and Emergency Care as a Service Line Manager. This role would suit an enthusiastic person looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied. The role will work as part of a triumvirate in conjunction with the Clinical Lead and Matron. The triumvirate is supported by an Assistant Service Line Manager.

This is a busy, demanding and challenging role. In return this post offers significant leadership development opportunities, together with an opportunity to work across a variety of Urgent and Emergency Care specialties, equipping you with a broad knowledge and understanding of the organisation. These include Accident & Emergency, Emergency Assessment Unit, Urgent Treatment Centres and Same Day Emergency Care. You will also have line management responsibility for a number of teams and be responsible for the effective delivery of the portfolio.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented leader with a track record of developing services and building great teams. You will support the strategic direction of Urgent and Emergency Care services and work across organisational boundaries to deliver excellent patient care.
