An exciting opportunity is now available for a motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible person to join the General Surgery Admin Team as an Apprentice Administration Assistant.
Our Apprentice programme offers an exciting opportunity for you to gain practical experience whilst supporting your development with a fully funded Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship and an internal development programme to equip you with all the skills to be successful in your career. This apprenticeship is supported by Derwentside College, and will include developing skills in IT, record and document production, decision making, interpersonal skills, communications, quality, planning and organisation, and project management.
Main duties of the job
- Providing an administrative service to the six teams within General Surgery which consist of Upper GI, Colorectal, Breast, Stoma, Oncology and Urology.
- Transportation of notes between departments
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying, filing, scanning
