Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to work as a Clinical Fellow in ourKingston & Richmond Early Intervention Service
This is for a fixed term (end of July 2024) Full time (40 hours per week) post, at Southwest London and St George's Mental Health Trust, based between Tolworth Hospital and The Maddison Centre.
This post is being offered at the equivalent of Core Trainee level, and the appointment would be at a grade based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. However, the post is suitable for doctors at several stages of their career including Post Foundation Year 2, doctors seeking attainment of specific expertise in an FY3 year, or an additional clinical post while they obtain MRCPsych qualifications
Main duties of the job
The posts will also suit doctors seeking to enhance their portfolio to gain entry to the training grades and doctors already in non-training Grade positions e.g. SAS doctors or Trust Fellows who are seeking a formal educational structure to their posts.
Training, educational opportunities and appraisal will be available to successful candidates, including attendance at the weekly academic programme.
Out of hours on-call is not a compulsory part of the role, but there may be an opportunity to take part in the on-call rota, if desired and subject to availability. Participation in the Daytime Duty Doctor cover is expected.

To create the very best environment to care for our patients, this site's layout will be transformed in 2026 to add a number of wards to the existing three. Tolworth has a canteen and is near shops, the A3, Tolworth station, and is a bus ride from Surbiton station, with fast connections to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo.
