Job summary
The post holder will work closely with the operative services management team to support operative services. The main duty is to manage theatre / clinic profile maintenance within EPR. Provide high level, data collection and KPI reporting on theatre activity to the trust. Coordinate, support and publish audits, report building, theatre utilization reports.
They will be responsible of administration of Theatre allocation via the 6-4-2 process and communicate any changes to the services and booking teams. Responsible on leading the administration of the scheduling meeting. Daily distribution of lists to all the theatre teams.

Main duties of the job
- Responsible for ensuring departmental processes support the Trust's performance against local and national waiting times and booking targets
- Monitor the theatre scheduling inbox, to maintain the live theatre schedule throughout the week, liaising with theatres, anaesthetics and service managers as necessary.
- Maintain and update the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system
- To assist with the orientation and induction of new members of staff using EPR and other internal electronic systems
- Work closely with theatres management to maintain a zero fallow lists position.
- As a member of the Operative Services team, you will actively participate in the development of action plans and audit
- Responsible for ensuring that Homerton EPR system clinic / theatre profiles are set up and closed as per the standard
- Lead on the project of standardising clinic / theatre profile and naming conventions in the trust
- Follow up actions due for the next 6-4-2 and scheduling meetings.
- Prepare the live theatre schedule, ready for scheduling meetings and 6-4-2
- Work closely with booked admissions team to ensure timely distribution of theatre lists
