Job summary
The Adult Community Rehabilitation Team (ACRT) is a forward thinking service that provides an interdisciplinary rehabilitation service to clients aged 18 onwards. The team is split into two specialist pathways for long term physical conditions and neurological conditions (progressive and non-progressive). The team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech & language therapists, clinical psychologists and rehabilitation support workers The team is supported by a Consultant Allied Health Professional, Consultant Neuropsychologist and a Consultant Neurologist. Therapy intervention is goal directed and flexible. The service is essentially community based, and clients can be treated in our on-site facilities.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced neurological physiotherapist to jointly lead the community neuro physio team. You must have considerable expertise working with clients with neurological conditions in a community setting. You will work alongside other band 7 physiotherapists to ensure smooth running of the community physiotherapy service within ACRT. You will work closely with the management team to review and develop the service as a whole.
