Lead Nurse for Acute Paediatrics
Are you ready to inspire and lead? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, forward thinking, enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Nurse who will be able to provide senior clinical leadership for Acute Paediatrics and Outpatient Department and Clinical Nurse Specialist team.
You will bring with you a proven track record of managing people, transforming services and have experience in similar clinical environments.
Main duties of the job
Provide strategic, operational and clinical nursing leadership within Community and Children's Services (CCS Division) to ensure and consistently develop a high-quality efficient nursing service for patients.
Deliver a clinical transformation programme for acute paediatric nursing, supported by the Deputy Chief Nurse
Work as a pivotal member of the multi-disciplinary team and develop a Children's Virtual Ward service.
Working with the Deputy Chief Nurse assist with governance, patient quality and safety standards and improve the patient experience within the Division.
Play a vital role in shaping the future of acute paediatric services.
Focus on the co-ordination of services and pathways so as to optimise the integration of acute and community services within the Trust.
