Job summary
The Housekeeper will work as an integral part of the Operating Theatre Department. They will work with the theatre team to ensure all facilities in the department are clean, safe, tidy and efficient.
The Housekeeper will support the department in terms of cleaning schedules of clinical equipment, assisting with stock management/rotation and assist the team in ensuring the department is well maintained and safe for the patients we care for.
Main duties of the job
You will also be required to undertake other non-clinical duties to meet the service needs as determined by the theatre coordinator/team leader and to liaise with other departments.
The post holder must comply with all relevant trust policies and procedures. The must complete all mandatory training and ensure the complete yearly appraisals.
