We are looking for a Principal Pharmacist with strong leadership and management skills, vision and drive to support the continuous improvement and transformation of our pharmacy services.
It is essential you have good, relevant experience of leading teams and delivering pharmacy services within acute health services. You have excellent people skills and have a demonstrable track record of initiating and successfully delivering change.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a core member of the Pharmacy's senior management team supporting the Chief Pharmacist with strategic planning tasks, service development and staff recruitment. They will assist generally on operational matters and provide professional leadership and management of Pharmacy staff.
The post holder will support and work closely with section heads to modernise and streamline processes in Pharmacy Stores, Distribution, Homecare and Dispensary sections to ensure optimal workflows. They will also provide a clinical pharmacy service to a designated area and will have overall responsibility for forward planning and developing clinical pharmacy services to the Surgical, Women's and Neonatal Services (SWNS) Division.
The post holder will work with stakeholders across the ICB to help improve and transform pharmacy and medicines optimisation.
