Main duties of the job
Conduct detailed pre-assessments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Provide patients and their families with clear information and support regarding upcoming procedures.
Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
Act as a role model and mentor to junior staff.
Support the department manager in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the wider clinical team.
- Interpret clinical information to identify risks related to surgery or anaesthesia.
