We have a fixed term or secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave in a busy BI team.

Main duties of the job

To assist with the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient BI development service supporting PAH and customer objectives through delivery of reports through the PAH BI solution.

To work with information colleagues and customers, identifying opportunity to deliver reporting services at scale through a "do once" approach to support customers deliver improvement of health care services.

To support the Head of BI to implement a culture of customer service and continual improvement.

To support the development of the PAH BI solution including assisting in the design and build of the reporting architecture.

To support delivery of report developments in an agile manner so they are developed as efficient as possible being in line with best practice which enhance the end user experience.

To take advice and guidance from the Head if BI to understand BI development techniques and technologies including best practice to support the teams in developing their specialist understanding and knowledge.

To work with the rest of BI team and wider informatics team to ensure a consistent approach to data visualisation.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
