Job summary
As an HL7 Integration Analyst/Developer at PAHT, the role entails managing the technical aspects of software development, including design, documentation, and implementation. This position focuses on developing and maintaining in-house software and integration services, emphasizing interoperability. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless system integration using HL7 standards, maintaining and supporting these systems, and resolving technical issues to enhance healthcare services.
Main duties of the job
This role requires an exceptionally high level of technical expertise. The post holder is expected to have the skill to routinely analyse and solve highly complex technical problems without the need to call upon others for advice, whilst providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge with other in-house software developers.
The post holder must be capable of taking the lead in developing software components for a variety of applications and ensuring they are rigorously built and tested in accordance with software industry best practice standards.
The post holder will ensure that new or replacement systems properly integrate with other Trust and/or partner systems and the service is maintained and supported appropriately.
