Job summary
This post is to support the Trust to contribute to and deliver digital transformation projects. The successful applicant will also support the procurement and system design of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR). The role reports directly to the CCIO and expected outcomes.
The post is designed to allow part-time clinical digital activities. Any arrangement agreed will be for a maximum of 5 sessions per week in clinical digital transformation and 5 sessions in clinical practice. This represents a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in digital healthcare as well as providing valuable experience and continued clinical development in clinical practice. It will be enjoyable, fulfilling and relevant to the future practice of any Doctor. It will enhance professionaland personal development and be flexible enough to allow independent.
The clinical digital component of the post will be supervised by the Chief clinical information Officer and we will work closely alongside a group of 4 other clinical digital fellows employed by the trust. The post holder will learn to develop we will also good influencing skills and some gain knowledge of the clinical barriers to the adoption of digital solutions
Main duties of the job
- Junior clinical lead in a minimum of 2 digital quality improvement projects.
- Opportunity to become qualified as a Clinical Safety Officer (CSO)
- Contribute to the successful procurement and delivery of an EHR for the trust.
- Contribute to the successful design of the EHR solution.
- Digital transformation of clinical pathways
- Support the development of reporting to deliver data driven insights based upon your professional curiosity and interest in digital healthcare
- Academic publication and presentations concerning digital healthcare and digital transformation
