Job summary
The Radiology PACS Manager is responsible for the operational performance of the Trust wide PACS systems and the associated clinical and administrative teams. They have responsibility to deliver formal scheduled training for groups of staff on the relevant systems, providing feedback to Radiographers and other staff groups to aid training and development. They are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the systems and supporting the Trust Information, Security and Confidentiality Policy. They are the lead manager with direct responsibility for managing any clinical and technical issues that arise with the systems on a day-to-day basis, providing support to clinical staff both within and outside Radiology, taking remedial action, communicating any problems and escalating any unresolved issues to the provider via the PAH IT Helpdesk. In addition, they must keep up to date with current trends in Radiography and be able to deliver technical advice to Radiology and other disciplines.

About us
The PACS manager position is required due to the introduction of the Integrated Care System (ICS) which will require a high level of support for the Imaging Systems Manager. This will facilitate in the smooth introduction of new processes and cover the day to day running of the PACS systems.
