Job summary
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAH) is looking to appoint a Trust grade doctor to work within Geriatric medicine.
This post gives the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to experience Geriatric medicine in a busy DGH setting with daily Consultant supervision. This role is particularly ideal as a stepping stone to gain experience prior to applying for training rotations such as ACCS or CMT. The successful candidate will rotate through geriatric medicine (including frailty and care of the elderly) and acute medicine which would include on call shifts.
You will be expected to take an active role in the department, participating in daily ward and board rounds, implementation of early assessment, diagnostics and clinical management of patients in all our areas. There are opportunities for study leave, audit and training alongside existing trainees.
