Are you looking to join a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse at The Sainsbury Wing; a dedicated private facility within Hammersmith Hospital.

The Sainsbury wing is a 26 bedded mixed speciality area which includes haematology, hepatobiliary, gynaecology, cardiology, cardiothoracic and upper GI, with an ambulatory care unit and an outpatient department. We care for patients undergoing complex surgeries, out-patient chemotherapy and we manage patients' symptoms caused by their treatment or cancer.

This post is a permanent full time position working with a mixed roster of long days and night shifts.

Main duties of the job

o To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients by assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating them without supervisiono To deputise for the nurse in charge as requiredo Monitor standards of nursing care and take appropriate action to maintain and improve themo To respond to patients, relatives and carers concerns as they arise and take remedial action as required.
