Job summary
One-year fixed term full time posts based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) commencing August 2026.
We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative Clinical Teaching Fellows, who have a keen interest in education delivery, for an out of training programme post in undergraduate medical education.
As demand for high-quality medical student placements continues to grow, we want to ensure we can meet increasing placement requirements and maintain excellent educational support for learners. Our Fellowsare often the first point of contact for medical students on placement and therefore have a pivotal role in all aspects of education delivery, student assessments and student welfare. This includes delivering a rangeof medical education sessions in safe learning environments, coordinating student timetables, and participating in student exams.
Fellows are encouraged to join our priority project work, and there will be opportunities to lead patient safety, student support, and immersive technology education projects. Protected timetabled sessions allowFellows to pursue their specialist clinical interests.
Our close collaboration with Imperial College provides enriching networking and developmental opportunities. We also encourage and fund postgrad certificates in education and support our Fellows to engage in educational research, complete publications and present at national conferences.
