Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised individual with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for clinical research to join the Peart Rose Research team as an Assistant Research Practitioner.
Previous experience working with cardiovascular patients is essential, along with a demonstrated passion for advancing research within a clinical environment.
Attention to detail is crucial, as accurate data collection is a core component of the role. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of various IT applications and be able to work both independently and collaboratively with maturity and professionalism.
This post is primarily based at Hammersmith Hospital, with some cross-site working expected as needed.
Main duties of the job
- You will contribute to the objectives of the Trust and the NIHR Research Delivery Network by helping to enhance the speed, quality, and integration of clinical research within the NHS.
- In this role, you will support the administration of the daily operations of the Peart Rose Research Team, as well as assist with specific research studies under their care.
- A key aspect of the role involves assisting with the data collection and processing of biological samples, along with undertaking various administrative responsibilities such as maintaining site files and ensuring data compliance with research protocols.
- The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that all research activities uphold the safety and well-being of participants and are conducted in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
