Job summary
AB2 West Gynaecology is a friendly and supportive female inpatient ward caring for women with a wide range of gynaecological needs, including acute, emergency, and planned admissions.

Main duties of the job
- Delivering high quality nursing care and support for women with gynaecological problems
- Contributing to promoting a high standard of patient experience
- Contributing to the maintenance of infection control procedures
- Updating own knowledge and skills to promote excellence in clinical practice
- Contribute to clinical audit of service and outcomes
- To support the Senior Staff Nurse in developing and maintaining the highest specialised nursing care and to take remedial action when standards of care are not met
- Support the Senior Staff Nurse to maintain financial control and efficiency within the department
