Job summary
We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Senior Lead Pharmacy Technician to take the lead in our Clinical Trials service. Main duties of the job
- Coordinate all pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials, ensuring effective, accurate and timely supply of trial medications.
- Provide specialist advice and support to research teams, sponsors and pharmacy staff on all pharmaceutical elements of clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards across all dispensing activities.
- Maintain robust documentation, audit trails and stock control to support safe and efficient clinical trial operations.
- Lead, train and support pharmacy staff involved in clinical trials, promoting high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Contribute to service development, harmonisation and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy clinical trials team.

- Post qualification: solid grounding in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice including aseptic services, ward/distribution services, dispensary and clinical trials
- Previous experience in training others
- Previous experience in looking after pharmacy computer systems
