We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Band 5 Radiographer to join our team at the Wembley Community Diagnostic Centre, supporting our 7 days extended evening MRI service from 16:00 to midnight.

You will be part of an innovative MRI service model, where an experienced senior radiographer operates the scanner remotely using advanced technology, while you provide expert on-site support for patients and service delivery. Main duties of the job

  • Support preparation of MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Operate MRI technology and equipment safely and professionally, following all local and national guidelines.
  • Carry out appropriate patient safety checks, including MRI safety screening.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in line with departmental protocols.
  • Support imaging in service in CT and X ray at Willsden CDC.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, radiologists, and support staff to deliver an effective imaging service
  • Provide a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ensure patients are fully informed and supported before, during, and after their procedure.
