This bank opportunity spans across St Marys Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital A&E Departments.

Successful candidates will be able to support the team to provide patient centred care, maintain high care delivery standards and efficient, safe management of patients within Imperial Teaching Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

  • To maintain a professional manner at all times, developing the role of the midwife in the best interests of the profession and the client in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies.
  • Provide and perform high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients in a compassionate and caring way, in fast and challenging Emergency Department environment.
  • Be dedicated to deliver a first-class service and be flexible to work across the Emergency Department.
  • Monitor patients progression, work towards safe and timely discharge plans and ensure barriers to discharge are identified and acted on appropriately.
