Main duties of the job
The role encompasses direct patient care, including sample collection, phlebotomy, vaccinations, microscopy, and conducting both female and male examinations. It also involves chaperoning during procedures, such as in the IUT clinic, and providing support for the Nurse-Led Walk-in service, including follow-up care, test of cures, and further treatments.
Full training will be provided, with opportunities to complete national qualifications such as cervical cytology sampling and STI Foundation Gateway.
