1 Year Fixed Term role based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative service. The primary aim of the role is to support the ICHNT multi-professional simulation programme and improve patient care, outcomes and safety using education and training interventions that best meet the needs of teams and Trust patients. The position is a highly varied one and will involve all aspects of the running and development of educational programmes.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work with clinical teams and the clinical leads to set up multi-professional and multi-disciplinary simulation. In addition, this will involve working with clinical and education leads to design, deliver and evaluate educational interventions to improve staff understanding of patient safety and ways in which they can maximise learning from serious incidents and never events. This includes, but it is not limited, to the development and delivery of simulation programmes for international medical graduates and locally employed doctors, allied health professional and registered nurses. The scope of this role aligns with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and the Educator Workforce Strategy.
