Job summary
This is no ordinary performance role -- and we're not looking for an ordinary leader.
We're looking for someone exceptional to take on a critical leadership posts in our Trust. As Director of Performance, you'll report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and take the helm on driving operational performance across all areas of the organisation.
From cancer to diagnostics, urgent care to elective, you'll be at the centre of the Trust's delivery - ensuring we perform at our best, for the patients who rely on us most.
This is a high-profile, high-impact role where your leadership will be felt across the organisation. You'll work closely with operational and clinical leaders, influencing decision-making at the very top and unlocking the insight, capability and action we need to deliver for patients.
We're offering this role on a 12-month fixed term or secondment basis initially. We need someone who can hit the ground running -- so please let us know your earliest possible start date in your application.

Main duties of the job
- Provide highly visible and inspiring leadership for staff throughout the Trust, championing a professional and open culture which empowers staff to deliver a consistently high quality of care with compassion, acting as a role model for the behaviours and high professional standards expected.
- Support the Divisional management teams to ensure each Directorate has clearly defined performance objectives supported by a management regime to deliver continuous improvement.
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in developing and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations across North West London
- Work with the Chief Information Officer to ensure that the Trust utilises business information to facilitate the monitoring of performance, to identify improvements and to agree plans to improve service efficiency and quality.
