Main duties of the job
- To manage the provision of the EP/CRM service. Providing services to both outpatients and inpatients.
- To manage the EP/CRM physiologist/clinical scientist establishment and oversee the training of junior members of staff and other healthcare professional visitors to the department.
- To facilitate / participate in research projects in collaboration with cardiology consultants within the department.
- To perform non-routine tests where necessary.
- To ensure implementation of clinical governance, complaints, and risk management process for the service in monitoring of compliance with clinical governance standards, other Trust-wide policies and processes and best practice requirements.
- Act as the focal point for communication for the service and ensure effective communication to all stakeholders, ensuring views and decisions are communicated both up and down the management structure
