Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance team of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

We are looking to a Management Accountant to support the Medicine and Integrated Care clinical division, providing financial and management accounting services. This is a key role providing financial input, advice and support, ensuring the delivery of month end reporting, business planning and Cost Improvement Plan analysis and costing.

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to thrive and develop within a supportive finance team, as well as contribute to improving the efficiency and offering of the Finance team function to the organisation.

The role will also make part of a wider development programme within the Financial Management team with the prospect of progression once clear set objectives are met by the candidate.

Main duties of the job

To provide financial and management accounting services to the Trust, with the aim of:

Recording financial transactions accurately and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger is maintained

Ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained and adhered to

Supporting the production of the statutory Annual Accounts, financial returns and monthly management reports

Providing financial input, advice and support to the Trust

Conducting standard analysis of income, costs and the balance sheet
