Job summary
This role is to support the Guardian of Safe Working Hours who is an extremely busy clinician with coordinating the monthly Resident Doctors Forum, acting as secretary i.e. taking minutes, etc. covering for a staff member who has gone on a secondment.
Ensuring all junior doctors and Educational Supervisors are set up on the Allocate system for exception reporting in a timely manner. Providing all the necessary admin support to the GSWH as and when required.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, committed, enthusiastic and able to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment and in a short timeframe.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work is key as well as good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet various deadlines.
You will have excellent skills in using Microsoft Office e.g. word, excel and outlook. Proven minute taking and report writing skills are essential.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will work within the Medical HR Team with primary aim of providingadministrative support to the Guardian of Safe Working Hours, under the supervision ofthe Medical HR Manager/Head of Medical HR.
- The post holder will act as the first point ofcontact to provide support and advice to Resident Doctors in training and ClinicalSupervisors in the Trust on the exception reporting process.
- They will lead on the production of data from the exception reporting system, prepare drafts of GSWH quarterly board reports and annual reports based on this data and have oversight and coordinate the more senior HR support of work schedule reviews being undertaken across the Trust.
