Job summary
The Trust is looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Data Warehouse team as the Deputy Head of Engineering.
The role will assist in maintaining and developing information systems within the Trust and specifically reporting extracts for an outpatients transformation programme where datasets, data flows and reports will be improved so as to support a key area of development and change within the organisation.
The role will involve close engagement with system suppliers, Imperial College Healthcare Trust(ICHT) staff and senior service (clinical) staff and the candidate is expected to have experience extracting data and creating reports from clinical systems.
This position is also a management position and could involve managing projects and or developers/database administrators developing systems in on premises systems or in the cloud.
Main duties of the job
- To be part of a team providing complete, accurate and timely Business Intelligence to support performance, research and education.
- You will provide management of and direction for the maintenance and development of this important Trust asset.
- The role provides specialist advice where required and oversees internal and external technical resources.
- You will be responsible for providing a service that supports reporting and analytics to internal customers and mandatory reports to external stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the role supports the Data Warehouse Manager to prioritise areas for development.
- You will report directly to the Data Warehouse Manager and deputises in their absence.
- The post holder will be responsible for managing data warehouse team members and leading projects.
