Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned care to patients with advanced clinical skills.
- Maintain a safe patient environment.
- Act as a scrub or circulating nurse during invasive cardiac procedures.
- Perform venepuncture, cannulation, and remove venous and arterial sheaths.
- Assist in the safe transfer of critically ill patients.
- Participate in on-call commitments as needed.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision
- To assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team
- To deputise for the Senior Sister or Senior Charge nurse when required
