Job summary
The eRostering team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is a well-established team having successfully deployed an electronic rostering solution across the Agenda for Change workforce, in this case Healthroster.
The team currently have an exciting opportunity for someone who is customer focused, enjoys working with systems & people, works well under pressure and excels in problem solving. The eRostering team support the maintenance of a large number of rosters covering a variety of staff groups, therefore, the service requires a confident, enthusiastic and dedicated System Specialist.
We are looking for applicants with previous experience and knowledge of rostering different staff groups using Healthroster (the Trust Rostering System of Choice), the successful candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organisational skills, experience in working with IT systems, and a 'can-do' attitude.

Main duties of the job
To provide effective advice and support to managers for Clinical and Corporate Divisions on a selection of policies in a timely and proactive manner.
To ensure that the e-Rostering Systems Specialist service is efficiently and accurately delivered in accordance with the e-Rostering service standards.
To ensure e-Rostering users adhere to Trust policies and procedures and best practice standards are adhered to when using the system.
To have a good working knowledge of HealthRoster and relevant policies to provide guidance to managers in the understanding of the HealthRoster system and completion of user accounts, new starters, change & leaver forms.
To ensure that the e-Rostering Support mailboxes are monitored throughout the day, prioritising and categorising queries appropriately, ensuring all forms and data input are completed promptly and accurately, including information relating to pay and changes to individual staff member's terms and conditions of employment and adhere to payroll deadlines.
To support the e-Rostering System Specialist team on day-to-day processes and the dissemination of email communication and reports when required.
To ensure that HealthRoster and other databases used within the team are used effectively, and that information is accurate and up-to-date.
To plan and complete own workload according to department SLAs.
