We are looking for an enthusiastic and outcome driven improvement professionals to join a dynamic team who are 9 years into a 20 year journey to create a culture of continuous improvement.
The Improvement Team is the expert resource who are responsible for delivering a programme of QI education & training, coaching teams through their improvement projects, providing improvement advice & consultancy and ensuring overall governance of the Trust's improvement programmes.
Quality Improvement has now been highlighted nationally as the vehicle to make change with the guidance from NHS IMPACT and the core elements for success. This is an exciting time for the team as we strategically transition improvement in a trust wide business as usual approach including key programmes of work to design & implement our organisational strategic goals. Ultimately, "building improvement and innovation into everything that we do."
Our Improvement Leads support and coach a wide range of clinical and corporate teams to deliver improvement projects; are involved in the development & delivery of QI training programmes.

In addition to the standard Improvement Lead responsibilities, this post holder will be expected to participate in the effective & efficient delivery and development of the core team programme which aims to develop individual and organisational capacity and capability to utilise improvement science and team coaching skills to improve patient flow and reduce unwarranted variation in care. Therefore, enhancing and improving accessibility.
The posts offered are 1 full time substantive post & 1 full time fixed term post for 12 months covering maternity leave. We will consider applications for less than full-time & flexible working.

Main duties of the job
- The Trust has committed to a quality improvement programme to support the delivery of the improvement activities and programmes across the organisation. The approach consists of key areas of work including coaching, building improvement skills and knowledge and supporting teams across the trust to lead, participate and demonstrate change to enhance patient experience.
- The improvement led role is pivotal to driving this agenda by building networks and relationships to bring improvement expertise to directorate and divisional teams.
