Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Band 7 Dietitian to work as part of a team of nine renal dietitians to provide a Specialist Renal Dietetic service at Hammersmith Hospital and its satellite dialysis units.
This post is a specialist dietetic position which requires the ability to work within an MDT to manage the dietetic care of people living with kidney disease under the West London & Renal and Transplant Unit which cares for over 3500 people, and is the largest facility of its kind in Europe. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based clinical service primarily to in-patients, out-patients and those dialysing in our renal satellite dialysis units.
Main duties of the job
To provide an effective highly specialist dietetic service to the Renal Dietetic service at Imperial College Healthcare Trust within the West London Renal and Transplant Service. To work in conjunction with the clinical dietetic lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of the service. This post covers primarily haemodialysis satellite work but also in-patient and outpatient work; the individual must demonstrate in-depth knowledge or experience and act as an expert within the specialist area.
