Are you seeking a dynamic leadership role in gynaecological outpatient care? Look no further! Join our team as a Band 7 Nurse Manager in Gynaecology Outpatient Services and lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional patient care.
This role entails overseeing the outpatient services including Colposcopy, Fertility, Hysteroscopy, Medical Termination of Pregnancy , Rapid Access Clinics, Gynaecological Oncology, General Gynaecology, and Reproductive Medicine.
As the Nurse Manager, you will spearhead our efforts to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care to patients undergoing gynaecological outpatient assessments, investigations, and procedures. You'll create a safe and supportive environment, ensuring patients receive the information and support they need throughout their journey.
Your role goes beyond patient care; you'll also provide professional and operational leadership within the department, setting the standard for excellence through your actions and decisions. By managing nursing standards and performance, you will ensure our team consistently delivers high quality care.
Additionally, you'll take on the responsibility of overseeing the department's nursing and supplies budget to optimize resource allocation and ensure operational efficiency.

Main duties of the job
To lead a team to deliver high quality, effective, individualised nursing care to all patients undergoing gynaecology outpatient assessments, investigations and procedures, ensuring a safe environment and providing a high level of information and support to patients.
To provide professional and operational leadership on the department, leading by example.
To manage nursing standards and performance.
To develop and maintain the highest nursing care and take remedial action when standards of care are not met.
To take responsibility for the department nursing and supplies budget.
