Clinical Team Lead - Pre-operative assessment and Elective admission

We are looking for the right individual to join this dedicated team to drive the vision forward and work as a collaborative part of the pre-assessment and elective admissions department as a Clinical team lead.

With our Pre-Assessment Service based across our three major hospital sites you will provide care for patients from a range of surgical specialities including; Neurosurgery, ENT, Breast surgery, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics and Hepatobiliary.

Main duties of the job

Efficiency of the Pre-Operative Assessment (POA) pathway (e.g. minimisation of on the day cancellation in theatre)

Excellent nursing care and health promotion

Liaison with secondary and primary care

Well-led and supported team

Effective controls in the maintenance of departmental budget

Implementation of nursing strategy and supporting the Trust/Directorate Objectives
