Job summary
West London Children's' Healthcare are seeking a dynamic, proactive and highly motivated individual to join the Outpatient administrative and clerical team. You will be an integral member of the team providing effective day-to-day clerical support to facilitate the smooth running of the department.
Our paediatric team provide a wide range of specialist and general services for children and young people. The majority of our services are based at St Mary's Hospital, which is also home to our paediatric A&E department and paediatric intensive care unit. We also offer some services at Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea hospitals.Duties include but are not limited to booking, rescheduling outpatient appointments, ensuring clinics are utilised efficiently and outpatients appointments are booked in accordance to clinical urgency and RTT waiting times, answering the telephone, intercom, meeting and greeting staff, patients and visitors and maintaining up to date electronic records.
We are looking for candidates dedicated to delivering excellent patient experience, who are comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the designated department and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the Department. Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including Consultants.
