Our haematology out-patient unit provides a wide range of services including clinic consultations, a day unit for Chemotherapy and Ambulatory care, and inpatient haematology units ensuring high quality care for all patients receiving anti-cancer treatment, as well as those patients with non-malignant conditions.

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, reliable and flexible, to become a part of our dynamic and welcoming Phlebotomy Department. Previous experience in leadership roles, extensive knowledge of adult venepuncture, and exceptional communication skills are essential, along with a solid commitment to teamwork in order to thrive in our phlebotomy team that supports the haematology clinic.

Main duties of the job

Candidates will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the phlebotomy team, creating rotas, performing audits and performance reviews of the team members. The role will consist of working a total of 37.5 hours per week, on Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day.
