We are looking for talented QIS Neonatal Nurses or nurses currently on the QIS pathway looking at transferring, or senior experienced Band 5's waiting for the opportunity to commence the QIS course, to join our team. Working within our two neonatal units, including at the CQC 'Outstanding' rated Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital Maternity Service, our neonatal team care for nearly 1000 babies each year. We want to say yes to you advancing your career and achieving your potential in a specialty where every day makes the difference.

The Imperial Neonatal service is getting bigger - more of the extremely premature infants born in London are delivered in Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea than any other Hospital in the Capital. We accept babies for cooling therapy, complex respiratory support, and treatment for ROP. Our skilled and experienced nursing team are fundamental in providing the incredibly high level care our babies deserve. We put our patients and their families at the centre of every decision we make and you can join us in giving our patients the Best Start in Life.

We want every member of our nursing team to grow and develop every day. With a team of specialist education nurses, regular simulations and hands on training, and access to university and resus council accredited courses. Imperial has extensive in house leadership training and development courses to accelerate your career and bespoke support from our charity to assist with additional funding for professional development. New skills, new projects, and new tools mean that nurses working with us have every resource they need to excel.

We've been pushing to grow our service and have been succeeding! With an increase in activity and acuity we have added 20% more ITU capacity at our tertiary site. As the speciality of neonatology grows and moves towards the future we are facing the challenges of workload and the pressure on our staff by increasing our Quality in Specialty Nurses. Every baby deserves top level care and we are pushing for more of our babies to receive one to one care giving us better outcomes and helping every one of our patients go home and live a full life.
