Job summary
We are seeking an interim divisional director of operations for medicine and integrated care division via fixed term contract or secondment. The successful post holder must be able to start in June 2024 and the contract will be for 3 to 6 months. Interviews to be held at the end of March.
The division is responsible for integrated care, renal, including renal dialysis stroke and neurosciences, acute and specialist medicine and urgent care and emergency medicine. The division will earn over £343 million in income from inpatient spells, emergency department and outpatient attendances and dialysis sessions.
The division will spend over £214 million on just under 3500 staff and a further £44.4 million on non-pay expenditure to deliver that activity.
Reporting to the divisional director for medicine and integrated care and have a closing working relationship with the chief operating officer. There are three divisional director of operations posts in the trust, working in collaboration with site directors and clinical leadership roles, this role has a key position within the trust's leadership team. You will have joint responsibility with the other divisional directors of operations and divisional directors and the executive directors for driving forward corporate and cross-cutting programmes of work and service direction.
