An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated NMC-registered Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) at Charing Cross Hospital.

Main duties of the job

  • The assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for adults in their care.
  • The post holder will use specialist knowledge and competence gained through post registration courses in caring for adults.
  • Will be expected to supervise HCAs and teach students
  • Support the HASU team to deliver safe and effective care, ensuring skills are maintained and opportunities for self-development are identified and agreed.
  • Contribute to ward development plans, including participation in ward accreditation and Pathway to Excellence activities.
