Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly team in the internationally renowned cardiac services at Imperial Trust sharing the workload in the different sites of community as well.

All community sites are well equipped. All sites have their own ECG machines, cardiac monitors and server to do analysing. The staff in the community has the opportunity to work independent and show their skills to their best ability. The services/staff are fully supported by the Principal physiologist and the rest of the staff attending the site. The community staff will work alongside St. Mary's Echo department for further development and training.This post offers the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment, further develop your knowledge and skills to a very high level, and participate in training and teaching. We are also supportive of post-graduate study, achieving STP equivalence and advancing physiologist/scientist careers.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to maintain their specialist knowledge of non-invasive such as fitting 24Hr tapes (Holter) and ambulatory blood pressure, assisting exercise test and walk-in ECG.

The post holder will need to be able to independently perform and interpret a range of cardiac investigation.

To assist the Principal Manager to provide the day-day clinical-technical services of the Community and Department.

The post holder will also be required to carry outsome administrative, environmental and housekeeping tasks.

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent Basic computer experience.
  • Basic ECG interpretation certificate or relevant experience
  • GCSE or equivalent in English.
