Job summary
The Stroke & Neurosciences Directorate of the Division of Medicine at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to appoint 4 full time Consultant Neurologists (10PAs). These substantive posts replace a full time locum posts to ensure continuity of our specialist sub-specialties and Acute Neurology.
Main duties of the job
As well as general neurology outpatients clinics, there are many specialist clinics held weekly to which patients may be referred: neuromuscular, headache, multiple sclerosis, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-otology, dementia, epilepsy and movement disorders, and a daily rapid access TIA service at Charing Cross. Neurology, Neurosurgical, Neurophysiology and Neuroradiology services are mainly based at Charing Cross Hospital, with additional neurology inpatient beds at St. Mary's Hospital (see below) and neurosurgeons based there to support the major trauma centre.
