Job summary
The project involves the consolidation of ICARE/WSIC data platforms into one high performance data analytics environment using modern tools and technologies and the decommissioning of UK Cloud environment and NEL CSU environment. The post holder will ensure the successful provision and implementation of research and clinical IT projects to time, budget and in accordance with the aims of stakeholders within and external to the Trust through the use of effective management of Trust staff, staff and partners organisations and external third party suppliers.

- Educated to Masters level or equivalent.
- Specialist project management qualification (e.g. Prince 2 accredited or equivalent), complemented by evidence of practical application.
- Ongoing professional development in project management field.
SKILLS/ABILITIES

- Highly developed knowledge of structured project management methodologies, gained through both formal training and practical experience.
- Able to manage project and financial resources effectively, motivating staff to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to use project planning tools (e.g. MS Project) effectively, with an indepth understanding of their capabilities.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritising workload of oneself and the team to achieve results.
- Highly developed organisational and planning skills, with the ability to co-ordinate a number of workstreams across different functions.
EXPERIENCE

- Track record of delivering projects to time and budget, particularly within a hospital setting, and through the use of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Project management experience, preferably within a healthcare IT environment, supplemented by experience within acute care project delivery.
- Evidence of acting with high degree of autonomy, leading staff, setting strategic direction and achieving objectives with little direction.
