Job summary
The main purpose of the job is to support the Learning and Education Team within NHS Elect with the planning, setup, delivery and evaluation of a multiple national programmes across the NHS. The Project Manager should have a good working knowledge of current issues in the NHS in England, with recent experience within the NHS desirable but not essential.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of project management tools and processes to enable the successful, timely delivery of the team's bespoke programmes, in collaboration with the wider multi-professional team.
Main duties of the job
NHS Elect aims to attract exceptional NHS people to work for the organisation, following experience of working in the wider NHS. The Project Manager will contribute to the project coordination of specialist workforce and education initiatives while working at times across the wider organisation. The post holder will implement a structured approach to project work flows, systems development and reporting. The post holder will work extensively with external partners utilising effective communications.
