Job summary

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Research Administrator to join our team at the Imperial Clinical Respiratory Research Unit (ICRRU).

The (ICRRU) primarily provides a designated host site for researchers to undertake their studies. It has specialist facilities for respiratory challenge studies. Project teams from across the medicine directorate can undertake studies on the unit involving both patient and healthy volunteers and provide their own specialist project teams.

The Unit Research Administrator role requires a motivated individual ideally with a background in clinical and research administration in a ward or outpatient setting. The post holder is required to work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and external stakeholders to facilitate a highly responsive service. They should also have a knowledge and understanding of both clinical and research protocols to ensure patients are booked, seen and discharged in a timely fashion.

The post is important in the enhancement of the clinical research service at St Mary's Hospital promoting its position as a centre of excellence in the performance of clinical research in respiratory medicine and other areas across the medicine directorate.
